책 소 개: The history of Ewha is not confined to Ewha alone. It also is an intergral part of the modern history of Korea, Korean women and Korean education. This book embodies the aspirations, dreams and visions of Korean women in the historical context of women's education in Korea. The era of globalization necessitates communication on a global scale. This English version of Ewha's history is instrumental in telling the Ewha story to wider audience. its publication also provides an invaluable opportunity to collect and compile historical materials. It will serve as the basis of future history publications of the university.

저자소개: 지은이 : Ewha Archives
Ewha Archives was established in October 1989 for the purpose of studying and archiving the history of Ewha Womans University. The institution is responsible for collecting and preserving important materials related to Ewha from both inside and outside the school. Ewha Archives’ publications include 100 Years of Ewha’s History, Ewha Old and New: 110 Years of History 1886–1996, and the series “In Search of Ewha’s Historical Roots.”
