Ewha International Summer College
Since 1971, Ewha International Summer College (EISC) has been the epicenter of global exchange for summer students all over the world. The EISC establishment prides itself in its ability to provide a comprehensive academic program, accompanied with dynamic field trips and cultural excursions that allows students to immerse in Korean cultures.
The EISC features two programs that cater to different interests and needs such as the 4 week Session 1 and the 2 week Session 2.
With over 40 credit-bearing courses in 9 disciplines, courses at the EISC are carefully selected and taught by top professors from both Ewha and prestigious professors from all over the world. The well-balanced and wide-ranging curriculum is open to both males and females that features a relatively small class size and faculty to student ratio that provides an intimate learning environment for students. In addition, EISC also offers Korean language classes that allows summer students to learn Korean at their appropriate level of fluency at both Session 1 and Session 2. The summer programs are designed to allow students to engage in lively interactions with both peers and professors both inside and outside the classroom through enriching academics and experiential learning.
At EISC, learning is a concept that goes beyond pen and paper. With an abundance of field trips and cultural excursions, students have the opportunity to explore the streets of Korea as well as major tourist destinations with fellow students.
With over 500 students from more than 17 countries, students have the opportunity to expand their global network and meet like-minded individuals while establishing long-lasting friendships. Furthermore, with the guidance of the Ewha PEACE buddies students can easily become acclimated to the Ewha campus while simultaneously interacting with both local Ewha and international students.
