GLOBALIZATION
International exchange programs: The world is our classroom
Ewha produces strong students capable of working in all corners of the world through diverse and practical international exchange programs. Every year, over 1,600 Ewha students participate in a wide range of short- and long-term educational programs overseas, thus fulfilling a shared dream of humanity. Through dual and joint degree programs, as well as exchange and visiting student programs, with overseas universities, Ewha is leading academic exchange across borders. Particularly popular among students is the Faculty-led Study Abroad Program, Ewha’s signature educational program, in which professors plan their own programs and travel with students to universities or institutions around the world to participate in joint classes and seminars over a period of seven to ten days, and the Ewha Global Initiative exploration program, which sends students to United Nations offices, embassies, government agencies and university research institutes around the world, develops students’ global capacities. With its leading role in exchange programs, Ewha has also been selected for thirteen consecutive years as the only Korean partner university for the Harvard College in Asia Program, an Asian international exchange program hosted by Harvard undergraduates.
